Dhankhar applies for pension; seeks MLA benefits - why was it stopped in 2019

Former Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, 74, has applied for the restoration of his pension as a former Rajasthan MLA. He represented Kishangarh from 1993-1998 and received pension until becoming West Bengal's governor in 2019. Following his resignation from the Vice-Presidency in July 2025, Dhankhar seeks to reinstate his monthly pension of Rs 35,000, along with travel and medical benefits.
